Details and description
Cala Sapone is a charming bay with very special sand, tinged pink by the tiny shells and coral fragments that have washed up on the beach. There are wide, flat rocks to the side of the beach, comfortable for sitting on.
This bay with its blue water is an ideal place for snorkelling, and you’ll be able to spot shoals of fish, shy octopuses, sea urchins, starfish, and huge beds of seagrass, a valuable resource in our seas.
You can also explore the coastline in a canoe, an adventurous and fun way to see the unusual rock formations, hidden bays and sea caves.
Make sure you watch the sunset: the red colours of the sky are reflected in the sea, and provide a wonderful show, ideally enjoyed with a glass of wine: a unique experience you’ll remember for a very long time. This bay is much loved by local people, and provides two kiosks and a large campsite, equipped with every comfort.
