Un viaggio sonoro tra Mediterraneo e sperimentazione elettronica anima la spiaggia di Cala Sapone con il duo DuOud<\/strong>!<\/em><\/p>\n

Formatosi a Parigi nel 2002 dall’incontro tra l’algerino Mehdi Haddab<\/strong> <\/em>e il tunisino Smadj<\/strong> <\/em>(Jean-Pierre Smadja<\/em>), DuOud<\/strong><\/em> \u00e8 stato il primo gruppo al mondo a fondere l’oud nordafricano con i suoni elettronici<\/strong>. I due musicisti costruiscono un percorso sonoro che guarda alle proprie radici nordafricane assorbendo e trasformando linguaggi contemporanei<\/strong> come break beat<\/em>, groove jazz<\/em> e chitarra distorta, alternando brani della tradizione arabo-andalusa a composizioni originali. L’album d’esordio, “Wild Serenade”<\/em>, vinse il premio Best Newcomer ai BBC Music Awards<\/em> e fu seguito da un tour mondiale di quasi tre anni; con “Sakat”<\/em>, registrato in Yemen, e “Ping Kong”<\/em> il duo ha proseguito il proprio cammino tra tradizione e futurismo, portando l’oud elettrico su palchi di tutto il mondo<\/strong>, dall’Europa al Giappone, dall’Australia al mondo arabo.<\/p>\n
