An ancient, resilient and profoundly identity-driven vine, which through local events has been able to tell its story to an ever-widening public, contributing to the promotion of the entire island territory.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">A Wine City since 2002<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>2002 was a symbolic year for Sant'Antioco: entry into the<em><strong>National Association of Wine Cities<\/strong><\/em> marked the beginning of a virtuous path of valorisation of local productions.<br \/>\nThat same year, the island first hosted Calici di Stelle, one of the most popular events of the Italian summer, celebrating wine on the magical night of San Lorenzo.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Calici di Stelle: the evening symbol of island identity<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Among all the events, <strong><em>Goblets of Stars<\/em> <\/strong>remains the most representative in terms of history, attendance and impact on the territory. The 2025 edition will be held on <strong>10 August<\/strong>As per tradition, it promises once again to be an unforgettable evening: thousands of people including wine enthusiasts, tourists and islanders will gather to taste the area's wines, meet local producers, and enjoy a sensory experience that goes beyond mere tasting. An opportunity to tell the story of Carignano del Sulcis through direct contact with those who produce it,<br \/>\nprotects and promotes it.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Le Notti del Vino: a new format for a new experience\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">New in 2025, <strong><em>Wine Nights<\/em><\/strong> is the new format of the Associazione Citt\u00e0 del Vino designed to enhance the territories through evening tastings, music and culture. The first edition on the island will be held on 16 August, in the splendid setting of Maladroxia beach. A magical evening by the sea, enhanced by the presence of local producers, live music<br \/>\nand an atmosphere that celebrates the value of meeting and sharing.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Carignano Wine Festival: the heart of summer<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The other key event of summer 2025 is the <em><strong>Carignano Wine Festival<\/strong><\/em>scheduled for 23 August on the Sant'Antioco seafront. Born in 2022, it has quickly become a central event for the promotion of the island's symbolic grape variety. Guided tastings, workshops and meetings with producers make the festival a moment of great cultural and touristic value.<\/p>\n<p>This year the festival will go one step further: it will land <strong>in Cagliari in autumn<\/strong> with a special edition involving the restaurants in the historic centre in a food and wine contest.<br \/>\nA challenge between creativity and tradition that will bring Carignano del Sulcis to the centre of the regional food and wine scene.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">A unique heritage<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>What makes the <strong>Carignano di Sant'Antioco<\/strong> is also its extraordinary origin: a large part of the production comes from historical tree-trained, non-irrigated vines, <strong>cultivated<\/strong>which survived phylloxera thanks to the island's sandy soils. An agricultural heritage of inestimable value that today represents not only an oenological rarity, but also a model of sustainability and preservation of biodiversity.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Events uniting wine, culture and the future<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>These events are not just festivals, but strategic tools to tell a<strong>strong and cohesive territorial identity<\/strong>.
