Tenuta La Scogliera

A 100-year-old vineyard on a cliff overlooking the sea

Tenuta La Scogliera is a family-run business driven by passion and perseverance towards a project that is not to abandon the vineyards that they have been cultivating for five generations and that represent a natural monument among the archaeological and cultural treasures that the island of Sant'Antioco boasts, but rather to make them known to the whole world through the glass. The first label well sums up their philosophy. It is called Raije, which in the Tabarchino dialect, the second dialect spoken on the island, means Roots, and is represented by the root system of the vine that recalls the structure of the arteries of a heart, paying homage both to the roots of the plant itself, and to the five generations of winegrowers and the family that carries the project forward with dedication and joy. All this charm and beauty are reinforced by the location of the estate: in the open countryside, on the coast, amidst the Mediterranean maquis, where one can sip a glass of wine while watching the sun set "behind the horizon" of the sea on which the cliff rises majestically.
