Panificio Calabrò has an ancient history dating back to the early 1900s. Now in its fourth generation, it is a reference point for quality and offer of the white art. Open from morning to evening, it offers breakfast, a quick lunch, a snack and an aperitif, to be enjoyed inside the premises or in the comfortable outdoor area. The products are created daily in the laboratory in Via Rinascita, and range from traditional Sardinian breads, such as civraxiu or coccoi, to typical almond cakes or special breads such as pani cun tamatiga or bread with ricotta cheese; the totally artisanal croissants, perfect for a breakfast, are very popular, as well as other dishes more suitable for a continental breakfast. Every day, the counter is enriched with delicious pizzas in a pan or on a shovel; for lunchtime, the small kitchen offers a short menu with a mostly vegetable base. From snacks to aperitifs, there are cakes and pastries to go with the coffee, or earthy platters and fried culurgiones to accompany a glass of local wine. The interior of the shop speaks of tradition, with a splendid tapestry made by the weavers of Sant'Antioco, telling the story of our roots.
